OCR LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATE FOR IT USERS
This course is for anyone who wants to use a personal computer competently. The course provides each learner with the basic level of knowledge and competence they require to maximise the benefits of their computer. It has been developed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users whether in employment, education or training. There are 11 Units, covering the topics indicated below to enable each candidate to develop their knowledge and competence in using a personal computer and common computer applications.

Qualification: Each unit is certificated separately, however, in order to achieve the level 1 certificate, candidates must complete five units, including the mandatory Unit 1: Using a Computer.
