CLAIT Plus
OCR Level 2 Certificate for IT Users
CLAIT Plus has been developed from and replaces Integrated Technology II, Databases II, Spreadsheets II, Desktop Publishing II and Cambridge Information Technology. It has been developed as a progression route from New CLAIT and aims to reflect and build on the strengths of the qualifications it is replacing, incorporating revised content which takes account of recent software developments and provides greater flexibility, ease-of-use and relevance.
Assignments are set in realistic scenarios to allow students to demonstrate their skills in a logical and realistic way.
The course units, are designed to provide candidates with the opportunity to attain the complete qualification or in bite-size pieces whereby each unit is taken separately to obtain an independent certificate.

Qualification: Candidates can obtain their qualification according to their need:
- In bite size pieces with each unit attracting an independent certificate
- The Full award for CLAIT Plus Level 2 Certificates whereby candidates must complete four units, including the mandatory Unit 1: Create, Manage and Integrate Files. However, candidates cannot combine two units that assesses skills in the same applications towards the three optional units.
- The Full award that includes all thirteen units, with each unit being displayed on the resulting certificate.
